Installing Index V (2015/2020) by Tanya Goel

Inspired by architecture and the environment expressed through a deep investigation of color, Tanya Goel’s works compose ordered landscapes that intimately combine material and units of measure. Made over a series of days, Goel’s site-specific drawing, Index V, was created from an indigo industrial pigment and pulverized bricks applied directly onto the wall using a snap line—a common construction tool for measurement.
