Membership is the perfect way to invest in the future of the museum and help sustain the arts in Philadelphia. While having year-round benefits that connect you to art and to others, your support makes exhibitions, conservation efforts, and educational programs possible and more accessible to all communities. A school email address is required as proof of enrollment and membership will not be processed until it has been received. Upon successful completion of this step, members can elect to use a different email address for museum updates.
The Artist membership is available for artists who work in various mediums, including painting, sculpture, drawing, print, photography, film, video, digital media, or performance-based art. Applicants must provide documentation of how they share their work with the public (i.e., website or exhibition announcement from current year) upon joining. Prior to purchasing an initial Artist membership, please email memberservices@philamuseum.org to provide proof of work. Artist memberships can only be purchased by the individual artist and cannot be gifted.
At the Museum Circle level, your additional support will help us provide access to the collection and preserve it for generations to come, in appreciation you’ll get behind-the-scenes looks and invitations , events with artists and curators.
Annual gifts at the Associates level support programs critical to the museum’s mission, such as conservation research or programming that makes the museum accessible for all patrons. Through exclusive opportunities—both online and in our landmark building—you’ll see the meaningful impact of your contribution in action. As our most generous donors, Chairman’s Council members form the strong foundation on which the museum depends. In addition to all the benefits that Associates receive, you’ll enjoy invitations to private events with museum leadership, complimentary copies of all museum publications, and access to private collections.
