Making the Philadelphia Museum of Art a place for everyone is core to what we do. On an ongoing basis, we recognize Philadelphia’s many diverse communities with dedicated Culture & Identity Celebration Months. This month, we’re proud to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

With a slate of special programming, we’re honoring the artistic cultures of Hispanic Americans. Special events are happening all month long, including our Pay What You Wish Celebration on Sunday Oct 1, featuring a musical performance by Latin Roots and a tribute program. And our Art Kids Studio sessions and weekly Friday Lounge Series highlight local Philadelphia artists. When visiting our galleries, make sure you check out our in-person tours and audio tours (available in multiple languages, including Spanish) featuring the unique contributions of Hispanic and Latinx artists on the global stage, and our special contemporary exhibition, El Origen de la Noche (The Origin of Night).

We look forward to seeing you!
