Translation: Glory be to God / Glory be to God in the highest

German text (right banner): Friede auf Erden / den Menschen ein Wohlgefallen

Translation: Peace on earth / Goodwill toward men

This rare lithograph bears traces of creases along the edges between the individual panels, providing evidence of its having been folded for use as a compact, portable altar.
