Portrait of John McMullin (1765-1843)

1834
Joseph Biays Ord (American, 1805–1865)
Joseph Ord is best known today for his still-life pictures, although he also painted portraits and produced copies of the works of European masters. This small portrait appears to have been a gift from the artist to his friend and neighbor, the accomplished Philadelphia silversmith John McMullin (1765-1843).
