Candlestick (from a series of twenty-four)

Modeled by Gaspero Bruschi (Italian (active Florence), c. 1701–1780) Made by the Doccia porcelain factory, near Florence (1737–present)
This candlestick, one of a pair, came from a series of figures in Middle Eastern costume that was modeled after engravings published by Charles, count of Ferriol and French ambassador to Constantinople.
