The museum’s collection of Asian rugs is one of the best in the country. This selection features just some of the exemplary pieces in the collection, including carpets from the regions of modern-day Azerbaijan, Syria, Iran, and Turkey. Highlights include a sixteenth-century Marquand Carpet from Iran and a Dragon carpet from Azerbaijan. Visitors can see some of these stunning works on view in the European and Asian galleries.
