Chinese Ceramics from the 10th to 14th Centuries
China has been producing high-quality ceramics for over 1,000 years, with the period between the tenth to fourteenth centuries considered the most significant due to the wide range of shapes, glazes, and decorative motifs that were produced. The beauty and refinement of these pieces later inspired artists and collectors to appreciate, collect, and emulate them. A selection of these works is currently on display throughout the museum’s Chinese galleries.
