In December, an exhibition was opened of the works of art bequeathed to the Museum by Charlotte Dorrance Wright. This collection gave the Museum seven flower paintings by Fantin-Latour, the first Gauguin to enter the collection, a group of eleven paintings by the English animal painter Munnings, a Degas, the beautiful Monet view of Antibes, three Pissarros, and a Sisley.
