The exhibition Elegy: Lament in the 20th Century explores how artists have used their work to convey sorrow and commemorate those who have passed. This page includes resources for those who have experienced loss and/or are looking for support.

Audio Meditation

A five-minute guided meditation practice intended to ground and reconnect with the body. Led by educator and social justice advocate Shesheena Bray, who holds a M.S.Ed in mental health counseling from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.

Grief Resource List

Grief affects all of us, and mourning can take many forms. This list, compiled by the Philly Death Doula Collective, contains resources for those who have experienced loss and/or are looking for support for themselves or a loved one.

Death doulas are non-medical practitioners who emotionally, physically, spiritually, and practically support end-of-life care for dying individuals and/or their families.
