Tickets will go on sale in December so check back here for updates! The Museum’s spectacular Great Stair Hall will be stylishly transformed for our masquerade festival where attendees will dance beneath Diana, partake in delicious fare, and test their luck with our celebrated raffle and silent auction items. Of course, what masquerade would be complete with out an unveiling - guests will be among the first to explore the spectacular Picasso and the Avant-Garde in Paris exhibition! This annual black-tie event tops the lists of young Philadelphia society, with all proceeds going towards the Young Friends' mission of support for art acquisitions, education, conservation, and special projects within the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
February 28th, 2009 - Gala d'Hiver
Over 400 guests dressed up, ate, drank, danced, and partied the night away with friends in the Philadelphia Museum of Art! This Gala was once again the hottest ticket in town as the Young Friends celebrated the grand opening weekend of the Cézanne and Beyond exhibition. Attendees were among the first to see the works of the French master alongside artists like Picasso, Matisse, Gorky, and Johns! VIPs were treated to an exclusive lounge and bar, professional red carpet photos, a swag bag worth almost the amount of the ticket, and much more! All funds raised at this event went toward the Young Friends's mission of art acquisitions, conservation, and education.
