Art Splash: Explore, Create, and Play All Summer Long

This summer the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s main building will be transformed into a hot spot for kids and their grown-ups. Families can "Meet the Masterpieces" all summer long as ten treasures from the Museum's collection come to life through gallery explorations, studio-art creations, and imaginative play for visitors of all ages.

Museum admission for kids twelve and under is always free.

Art Splash is generously supported by an anonymous individual donor.



Meet a Different Masterpiece Every Week

Explore a different highlight from the collection each week with Art Splash gallery programs and Splash Studio projects. Come back throughout the summer to meet all ten masterpieces.

Members’ Preview Art Splash

Join us for the exclusive Members' Art Splash opening celebration. You and your young guests will be among the first to experience our summer extravaganza. This summer the festivities will take place in the Museum’s main building and families can “Meet the Masterpieces” as ten treasures from the Museum come to life.
