Inequity and exclusion pose continuing harm to our communities and each other. Together, we are building an inclusive museum culture of wellness that strengthens individual agency and the collective intention required to respond to these harms. We must ensure our decisions and actions reflect our values and move us toward institutional equity and inclusive excellence. Since its formation in 2020 by the Board of Trustees, the Office of DEIA, through this plan, works across the museum community to embed these values in three key areas: Community, Culture, and the Collection.
