The high level of artistic achievement which occurred in Philadelphia in the years following the American Revolution will be revealed in a
major exhibition of furniture, silver, costumes, paintings, and architectural elements at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The
exhibition which is made possible by the IBM Corporation, is part of the national celebration of the bicentennial of the Constitution and will be
a highlight of Philadelphia's Freedom Festival.
