Armor for Use on Foot in the Tourney Fought over the Barrier
Image 1 of 71 / 7
This armor was used in a form of tournament where a barrier separated the contenders, who fought on foot with either a pike or a sword. Since the barrier provided a defense for the lower portion of the body, this type of armor leaves the wearer's abdomen and legs unprotected.
