This wood engraving was issued as a holiday gift for the customers of the Pulp Division of Weyerhaeuser Timber Company of Tacoma, Washington. Kent gave the finished preparatory drawing for the print to Carl Zigrosser, Kent’s longtime friend and the founding curator of the Museum’s department of prints and drawings, as a Christmas present.
