Rockwell Kent (American, 1882–1971)

This print takes its title from the famous political slogan and rallying cry for workers’ rights that appears in The Communist Manifesto, written by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in 1848. Among other uses, it was on the cover of the magazine New Masses for its July 20, 1937, issue.
