Here Bacon depicts her family and friends at her home in Woodstock, New York. From left to right are artist Alexander Brook (Bacon’s husband), painter Yasuo Kuniyoshi, artist Katherine Schmidt (Kuniyoshi’s wife), Art Students League alumnus Niles Spencer and his wife, and Peggy Bacon (in chair). Bacon and Brook’s two children, Belinda and Alexander, are seated on the floor.
