Folding Spoon

1728-1732
Formerly attributed to Cesar Ghiselin (American (born France), c. 1663–1733)
This rare folding spoon may have been used for measuring medicine. Its engravings are similar to the vine and floral chased decorations found on mid- to late-seventeenth-century French and northern European silver.
