This unique work shows the influence of the world of sorcery and black magic expressed in the heavy metal sounds of bands like Black Sabbath.
With Nicki Hitz Edson, Arlene Stimmel was co-author of the 1973 step-by-step book Creative Crochet. The publication was a communal effort involving the authors, their Pratt Institute friends, other young artists, and gallerist Julie Schafler Dale.
