Eleanor Moty (American, born 1945)
Eleanor Moty sought out the open and experimental atmosphere of Stanley Lechtzin's Metals program at Tyler School of Art. She researched and pioneered the use of photo etching in jewelry during her studies there. After earning her MFA in 1971 Moty taught at Moore College of Art for a time before moving on to the University of Wisconsin at Madison where she taught until 2000.
