Woman's Ensemble: Bodysuit and Skirt

1971
Giorgio di Sant'Angelo (American (born Argentina), 1933–1989) Sold by Bonwit Teller (founded 1907)
With riotous patterns and bright colors, Giorgio di Sant’Angelo’s clothing expressed freedom and confidence, and offered a thoroughly modern way of dressing, very different from stark space-age designs of the time. Incorporating influences from ethnic, "gypsy," and hippie fashions, his unstructured, body-conscious separates—such as this low-cut leotard and long beribboned floral skirt—were adaptable and adventurous—perfect for fashion individualists.
