Girl's Hat

Early 20th century
Made by John Wanamaker Company, Philadelphia and New York (1876–1995)
This girl's hat, created by Philadelphia's famous Wanamaker department store, echoes the fashionable shape of early twentieth-century women's millinery; the lightweight, white fabric and dainty trimmings were favored for both women's and girls' clothing.
