Both Chado Ralph Rucci (ready-to-wear collection) and Ralph Rucci Chado (haute couture collection) are named after the Japanese tea ceremony and its carefully modulated steps. Asian philosophical and visual references resonate throughout much of Rucci's work. His second haute couture collection in shades of white included this strapless dress inspired by the folded Japanese obi.
