Designed by Louis-Constant Sévin (French, 1821–1888) Made by Ferdinand Barbedienne (French, 1810–1892)
A version of this candelabrum was exhibited (with its mate) by the firm of Ferdinand Barbedienne at the International Exhibition of 1862, held in London, where the company won a medal for “casting bronze and silver in the most delicate manner and chasing with the greatest taste.”
