1863
Utagawa Yoshikazu (Japanese, active c. 1850-70)
The text on this print describes the three pygmies in the image: Nintoku, age forty-five, his wife Nojo, age thirty-eight, and their son Settoku, age five. Supposedly their handprints are shown "full size."
