"Soft Urn"
By using silicone in the production of her vases and bathroom sinks, Jongerius has transformed objects that are traditionally hard and rigid into soft, even pliable, ones. For this soft urn, Jongerius has taken the unusual step of leaving intact the seam lines produced by the sections of the mold.
