Barrel attributed to Christian Wolff (German (active Ulm), recorded 1665–1669) Stock made by Georg Maucher the Elder (German (active Schwäbisch-Gmünd), 1604–1680, master 1629)

The stock bears the initials of the noted carver Georg Maucher (1604-1680) of Schwäbisch-Gmünd. The initials CW on the lock of the barrel are possibly those of the engraver Christian Wolf of Ulm (active 1665-1669)
