Three disparate rich fabrics—metallic brocade, embroidered velvet, and crushed velvet cutwork—combine in this haute couture evening suit, epitomizing the style Emanuel Ungaro described as "new Baroque." Ungaro’s flair at combining patterns, colors, and textures is evident from assertive shoulders to short slit hem; his impeccable tailoring skills ensure the glittering suit is sleek and form fitting.
