Travelers Pausing outside a Farm

After 1645
Allart van Everdingen (Dutch (active Alkmaar and Amsterdam), 1621–1675)
Most of the approximately one hundred landscape etchings produced by Allart van Everdingen during his career were of rocky terrains inspired by his 1645 visit to Sweden and Norway. The fir trees and a log cabin at the right in this print are typical of the artist's Scandinavian-inspired views.
