Jug with the Face of a Bearded Man

Bouffioulx, located in the south of modern-day Belgium, was home to a stoneware industry from the sixteenth through eighteenth centuries. The style of its productions was influenced by wares from the Rhineland centers of Raeren, Frechen, and the Westerwald.
