1978
Designed by Jody Pinto (American, born 1942) Workshop of The Fabric Workshop and Museum, Philadelphia (founded 1977)
Jody Pinto created this work in collaboration with the Fabric Workshop in Philadelphia. Conceived as a visual pun on shirts worn by penitents and ascetics typically woven from goat’s hair, it responds to Pinto’s drawings that connect body parts and hair to landscapes.
