Selection of African-American Works from the Collections is a show mounted by the Department of Twentieth Century Art in honor of Black History month. On view from February 1 through March, the installation will include works by Henry O. Tanner and Horace Pippin as well as contemporary artists such as Romare Bearden, Betye Saar and Philadelphians John Dowell and Charles Searles.
