About the Artist
Jihan Thomas is a Black visual artist, ceramicist, and community arts educator based in North Philadelphia, using her art and creativity to serve her community. Her ceramic practice has a foundation in traditional African pottery techniques and she currently works as a ceramic educator with The Clay Studio.
