The Young Friends of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, a lively group of young professionals and art enthusiasts who support the Museum, are pleased to announce that the 15th Anniversary of its annual Rodin Garden Party will take place on Friday evening, September 29, 2006. With a theme of ‘Midnight in the Garden’ the event will celebrate the lush garden setting of the Rodin Museum, home to the largest public collection of works by the celebrated late nineteenth-century French sculptor Auguste Rodin outside of Paris. Over 400 guests are expected to attend this festive evening, ushering in the autumn season while toasting this milestone anniversary. Proceeds from the event will be used to support the acquisition of works of art for the Museum’s collections.
Partygoers will delight in the exquisite sculpture of Rodin while enjoying scrumptious food, an open bar with signature cocktails, and a raffle in the beautiful, historic garden setting. Raffle tickets are available for purchase on the night of the event, and prizes include two round-trip tickets compliments of Southwest Airlines.
The 2006 Rodin Garden Party is chaired by Patty Henhoeffer and Irene Kotok.
Call 215-235-SHOW or visit www.philamuseum.org/youngfriends to reserve tickets. Advance tickets, available until September 19, are $45 for Young Friend Members, $55 for guests or non-Young Friend members, and $50 per person for groups of 6 or more. Tickets are $70 at the door.
