Events and Activities

You may register for programs that take place at Mount Pleasant and Cedar Grove in person at the Philadelphia Museum of Art's Visitor Services desks. Or to register by phone, call 215-235-7469. A nonrefundable service charge for each space reserved is added to all phone orders (Members $2.50, Nonmembers $3.00). There is no service charge for reservations made in the Museum.

Trolley Tour - A Taste and Tour of Beer History

This tour will explore the beer history of the Morris family of Cedar Grove, a family farm and retreat from the city. Participants will enjoy a “guided tasting” with Yards Brewery, learning more about beer making in early America and tasting a selection of beer types. Tasting limited to person 21 and older with proper ID.

Tours depart from the West Entrance and are offered at 1:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:00pm, 2:30pm, and 3:00pm. Tour last approximately 90 minutes.

Enjoy the breeze from the Schuylkill River on this tour of the Undine Boathouse, designed by Frank Furness, followed by a tour through Lemon Hill, a Federal-style villa built in 1800.
