Events and Activities

You may register for programs that take place at Mount Pleasant and Cedar Grove in person at the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Visitor Services desks. Or to register by phone, call 215-235-7469. A nonrefundable service charge for each space reserved is added to all phone orders (members $2.50, nonmembers $3). There is no service charge for reservations made in the Museum.

Trolley Tour - Art in the Park

Celebrate the beginning of spring with a tour of and through Fairmount Park, with stops to look at historic architecture, beautiful vistas, and significant works of public art. A visit to Lemon Hill Mansion concludes with refreshments on the porch.

Offered in partnership with Art in the Open and in conjunction with LOVE Your Park week.

Trolley Tour - Beer History: Taste and Tour

This tour will explore the beer history of the Morris family of Cedar Grove, a family farm and retreat from the city. Participants will enjoy a “guided tasting”, learning more about beer making in early America and tasting a selection of beer types. Tasting limited to person 21 and older with proper ID. Tours depart from the West Entrance and are offered at 1:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:00pm, 2:30pm, and 3:00pm. Tour last approximately 90 minutes.
