Share your vision of Arcadia.

"May the day come-and perhaps soon-when I can flee to the woods on a South Sea island, and live there in ecstasy, in peace and for art."

~ Gauguin to his wife, Mette, February 1890

I liked it it was a very good audio tour

The audio guide was very informative. I appreciate their wonderful words. I learned much from them. I also liked the music from Debussy. The bathing women were beautiful. I can't they were not real. MICHAEL C./DAC/

Loved the exhibit but noticed a preponderance of male artists. Any way to work more women in?

I enjoyed hearing the audio as it helped guide me through the exhibit. I learned that Arcadia embodied different visions to each artist - whether it was serene, sensuous, manic, or liberating. Thanks for a great exhibit!

To live in a time where women constantly bathed in public. Makes the heart go a'flutter.

Beautiful ideas in paint. The color and light are wonderful compliments to the mythology.

Strong exhibit. Large enough to be impressive. Small enough to make the experience personal! :)

Wonderful exhibition, but nothing quite exceeds the allure of imagination and beauty as Gaugin's "Where do we come from? Who are we? Where are we going? Thank you for its inclusion!

If only visions of Arcadia and music from Prelude to the afternoon of a fawn by Claude de Busse rescue us from the violence we recently experienced and continue to experience in our world

One of the most impressive exhibits I've ever seen; very similar to the Louvre. Worth coming all this way to see.
