The wood chair should be added to the collection.

I believe the Wood Chair should be added to the collection. It is the most innovative, and interesting, chair out of the choices, yet it maintains simplicity. It draws the observer in to explore its construction, and causes the imagination to consider its form and function.

My art student from 6 through 8th grade picked the wood chair. It was a wonderful discussion on the elements of art and principal design. The students indicated while the other chairs reminded them Herman monster chair, the melting chair and the bug chair, the wooden chair had a greater impact on them. They recognized the cancer symbol.

I would like to see the wood chair added to the collection, it's very artistic with it's pure lines

I like the Wood Chair ..... first it is just beautiful , I love wood, its lines are just lovely... it reminds of
ribbons used for many causes ...

The Wood chair is my first choice, being both complex and straigtforward, elegant and unique.
I might have voted for Showtime, but since it includes leather, i cannot. The museum should not support the killing of animals in the name of art.

The Madame Dakar chair in recognition of the collaboration of the designers and their inspiration from varied cultural influences.
David Mueller - 10.16.2011 - 5:20 PM
The Showtime Chair should adorn the collection and further the melding pot of international design with the integration of Spanish contemporary design.
David Ulrich - 10.16.2011 - 5:17 PM
The Showtime Armchair for its nod to the future, as well as the past.
Micaela - 10.15.2011 - 6:42 PM
I think the Wood Chair has really attractive lines and would fit into many different style rooms without problems.
On the other hand, I also like the Showtime chair for different reasons. I think it's a very original design for a chair that can provide a bit of privacy in a very crowded space or provide a contrast to other furniture in a comfortable feeling room.
I can't decide which one I prefer because they have such different styles and uses. I wish both of them could be added to the collection.

No question: the wood chair immediately caught my eye. I would love to see it at the Museum.

The Marc Newson wood chair would be my choice.

Definitely the Marc Newson chair
MV - 10.11.2011 - 7:45 PM
The Wood Chair, for its flowing design. The other three look too dorky.
