Visiting an exhibition in person is a much richer experience than visiting online. Leave a comment to share your thoughts and impressions with others about Rembrandt and the Face of Jesus.

Overall enjoyed the exhibit; however, have to agree with Michael Levin as well! Supper at Emmeaus with the candle was my favorite. Also the fact that all of Faces of Jesus were the same was amazing!

I really appreciated the video showing the etching process! It was great to see how Rembrandt did it.

I love Rembrandt's portraits, especially these natural-looking faces of Jesus, who was a Jew.

Rembrandt's addition of a dog at the Last Supper was a welcomed touch. By the way if you wanted to know what the name of Jesus' dog was - it's Old Man Jenkins!

I did not like it because it was boring and un inspireing.

The kid in the 100 guilder print is not recording Jesus' every word. He is bored, ignoring Jesus, and doodling in the dirt. His body language says boredom. If he were writing down Jesus' words, he would be turned toward Jesus. The obtuseness of the comment on this image makes me wonder about the rest of the commentary.
