Visiting an exhibition in person is a much richer experience than visiting online. Leave a comment to share your thoughts and impressions with others about Rembrandt and the Face of Jesus.

Very thought provoking

this was really great . I especially enjoyed the printmaking video. thanks for the hospitality, except I really disagree with the policy regarding not being able to sketch in a museum . /that truly goes against the grain of what a museum is for. Just imagine what Rembrandt would say if you could not sketch at some of his works. Shame on you

This exhibit made me appreciate the meticulous art of drawing- the beauty of a face and its artful representation. Wish the commentary was deeper and richer. Great Exhibit!

I liked the student's supper at Emmaus more than Rembrandt's.

Very realistic. Rembrandt is a brilliant oil painter, no doubt. I also like how he encouraged students to create new renditions of his art with slight changes, as opposed to simply copying them. Not sure if i am a fan of the way he portrayed jesus in the 8 depictions in which he showed jesus with different expressions. very... confused yet contemplative. it is hard to see what jesus is exactly thinking.

Realistic, attractive, and personal... the faces of Jesus. Jesus became gentle in the eyes of Rembrandt.

I had a really hard time seeing the paintings cause everyone was standing in line at a museum which generally doesn't happen listening to their audio guides. But - it is Saturday and this is Jesus - so what the hey.
