LabelThis chair was designed for the barroom of the Vienna Kabarett Fledermaus, a café-theater conceived as a meeting place for the Viennese avant-garde. Its interior decoration was designed largely by Hoffmann and executed by the Wiener Werkstätte (Vienna Workshops).* Works in the collection are moved off view for many different reasons. Although gallery locations on the website are updated regularly, there is no guarantee that this object will be on display on the day of your visit. |
