Attributed to Anton Peffenhauser (German (active Augsburg), master 1545, 1525–1603)

This unique ensemble, made in the Hungarian fashion, was intended for a Christian nobleman in Eastern Europe or for presentation to a high-ranking Ottoman official in the context of diplomatic negotiations.
