An Arhat is one who has reached the end of the Eight-Fold Path, and has not only achieved perfection, but can teach others the way to perfection. Seated on a throne, Arhat Abheda holds his attribute, the chorten, which represents the presence of Buddha in the cosmos. Three Buddhas are at the top and three Dharmapalas (defenders of the Law) are at the bottom.
