An interesting coming together of story telling using three large Korean screens of the late Chŏson dynasty illustrating Chinese stories retold and passed down over the centuries. Along with the screens, a handsome collection of Chinese illustrated ceramics is also on view.

 

Luxury Chinese textiles have been imported to Tibet for over a millennia. This Art Talk will examine the rich heritage of costume and textile in Buddhist Tibet. This series is based on a previous installation: Learned Lamas: The Teacher in Tibetan Art.
