Malhotra’s garments as well as a video of his phulkari runway collection are currently on view in the exhibition Phulkari: The Embroidered Textiles of Punjab from the Jill and Sheldon Bonovitz Collection. The designer is also featured in a video on our website.

Manish Malhotra is known for his intricate craftsmanship and glamorous designs, which are a favorite among celebrities. His catwalk shows at Fashion Week are regularly featured in Vogue India and other magazines. Entirely self-taught, he first made his mark as a costume designer for film in the 1990s before launching his eponymous label in 2005.
