We’ve been in our building on Fairmount—a Philly icon—for ninety years. Help us celebrate nine decades on the Parkway with a day of guided tours, art making, and sneak peeks into our big dig.

​Join us for a hands-on art making project to celebrate ninety years on the Parkway.

Tours: Architecture of the Philadelphia Museum of Art
11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (tours start every half hour)
Meet in Lenfest Hall (West Foyer), ground floor.
​Discover the fascinating history of our landmark building set amid Philadelphia’s urban landscape.

Members-Only: Hard Hat Experience
2:00–4:00 p.m.
Members, get an exclusive look at our new Frank Gehry–designed dining area during its construction. Go on a hard hat walk-through and explore elements of the Core Project before its completion. For location details, check in with a Visitor Services Assistant upon arrival. First come, first served. Please note: The space is not fully accessible as it is an active construction zone. Flat, closed-toed shoes are required. You must be over 13 years of age to take part in this tour.

In appreciation of your support and in celebration of the 90th anniversary of our building, we invite you to a private lunch with fellow art enthusiasts and staff as well as a tour of our archives with Susan Anderson, the Martha Hamilton Morris Archivist​. Throughout the day, you’ll learn how your generous support is an investment in the future of the Museum.
