Collection Tours

With sculptures, reliquaries, stained glass, and objects of architectural interest, this tour examines the Museum's vast collection of treasures from the Middle Ages.

As van Gogh said, “We love Japanese painting, we’ve experienced its influence — all the Impressionists have that in common.” This tour explores our Museum's noted Impressionist galleries, highlighting the far-reaching spell cast on both van Gogh and Impressionism by Japanese art.

Class size is limited. Preregistration is required, and fees are nonrefundable unless the Museum cancels the class. Call 215-235-SHOW to register.

Young artists get to know the Museum inside and out during these 10-session classes.

Children in Ages 3–5 classes must be accompanied by an adult (who attends free) for the gallery visit portion of the class. All children must be toilet trained. No experience is necessary, and all materials are supplied.

Gallery-based interactive art history courses.

This is a three-part course (sign up for either Wednesday evenings or Thursday afternoons).

Explore women's roles as artists, muses, collectors, and subjects from the middle ages to the present. Meetings will be discussion-based and take place in the galleries.
